California privacy notice
Effective September 10, 2026. This notice provides additional information for California residents. The specific rights and duties under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, depend on legal applicability and exceptions. We offer the privacy controls below while the launch business details are finalized.
Information and purposes
The privacy notice describes account/contact identifiers, carrier business information, equipment listing details, photos and reports, precise coordinates when submitted, support requests, outreach business contacts and technical information. We collect this information from you, authorized carriers, reported observations, documented business outreach sources, and service operation. We use it to provide the requested service, route leads, manage accounts, maintain security and respond to requests. Precise location is used for the sighting service you request; it is not offered for advertising.
Sale, sharing and your opt-out
We do not sell private reports, photographs or location details as a product. Optional Meta measurement on limited public information pages, if enabled and accepted, may constitute sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Advertising is off by default and is blocked when Global Privacy Control is enabled. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of people under 16; the service is intended for adults.

You can also submit an opt-out through the form below; include enough information to identify any account preference you want changed. A browser preference does not by itself identify you across every device.
Requests and authorized agents
Where applicable, you can request access to your information, correction, deletion, an opt-out of sale/sharing, and limitation of certain sensitive information uses. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. Use our privacy request form or contact email. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf; we may request appropriate proof of authority. We may need to verify identity for account-level access or deletion and will not ask you to publish identity documents in a report.
Retention and disclosure categories are described in the privacy notice. We keep request records to handle and document the request; closed records are retained for 24 months before scheduled deletion. Information subject to a lawful retention exception may remain for that purpose.
